Barcelona's Javier Mascherano calls for improvement

Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano warns his side against complacency after their 3-2 win over Sevilla in La Liga.

Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano has called for an improvement, claiming that his side were "lucky" to beat Sevilla on Saturday night.

The Catalan giants needed a late winner from Alexis Sanchez to win the game 3-2 after being pegged back by two late Sevilla goals.

"We have to improve a lot," the Argentina international told the club's official website. "Because of our errors they tied the match.

"We were lucky to win but it won't always be this way. Everything will get more difficult in the future.

"What we can't allow is to have a two-goal lead and have what happened happen. This doesn't mean that we played poorly. They are just our errors and we have to minimise them."

Barca have four wins from their opening four games in La Liga.
