Javier Mascherano could be a doubt for Barcelona's clash with arch-rivals Real Madrid next Saturday after apparently picking up a knock on international duty for Argentina.
The 31-year-old played the full 90 minutes in his country's 1-1 draw with Brazil in the 2018 World Cup qualifier on Friday but has reportedly been suffering from a muscle spasm.
Argentine newspaper Ole suggests that not only could the midfielder be a doubt for the key World Cup qualifier against Colombia on Tuesday, but he may not be fit for the top-of-the-table La Liga clash at the Bernabeu.
Argentina head coach Gerardo Martino has said that he will wait to see how Mascherano recovers before making a decision on his participation against Colombia.
Argentina currently sit ninth in the 10-team qualifying group after two draws and a defeat from their opening three games, while Barca are three points clear of Real at the top of La Liga.
