Gerard Pique, Adriano to miss AC Milan clash?

Gerard Pique and Adriano emerge as doubts for Barcelona's Champions League clash with AC Milan on Wednesday.

Gerard Pique and Adriano could both miss Barcelona's Champions League clash with Italian side AC Milan at Camp Nou on Wednesday evening.

Adriano has sat out the last couple of matches with a hamstring injury, while a muscular strain has troubled Pique in recent weeks.

According to Football Espana, both players missed Barcelona's main training session on Monday morning, although Pique was put through his paces during an individual routine.

Should Pique miss the European clash, then the Spanish international is expected to return for the trip to Real Betis in the league next weekend.
