Luciano Vietto has revealed that he decided to join Sevilla this summer in order to 'restore his confidence'.
The Argentina international moved to the Estadio Ramon in the summer on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid, and it is understood that he rejected interest from Barcelona to join the Europa League winners.
The forward, who only scored three times for Atletico last season, has hinted that he was concerned about a lack of playing time at Camp Nou and has also paid tribute to Sevilla boss Jorge Sampaoli for his managerial style.
"I came here to help get my confidence back and to be happy. The coach wants us to keep the ball and to run hard, so you need to be very physically fit. We are all taking in a new football idea which is really enjoyable and something we all buy into, but we haven't had much time so we need to work even harder," Vietto told reporters.
Vietto, 22, has scored twice in two La Liga appearances for Sevilla this season.
