Wednesday's La Liga predictions including Osasuna vs. Atletico Madrid

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's La Liga action, including Osasuna vs. Atletico Madrid.

Eibar vs. Athletic Bilbao (Wednesday, 6.30pm)

Eibar welcome Basque rivals Athletic Bilbao to Ipurua Municipal Stadium on Wednesday looking to return to winning ways and ease their relegation concerns.

The hosts have lost three in a row and are just two points above the relegation zone, while opponents Athletic's hopes of European football next season are slowly dwindling.

We say: Eibar 2-2 Athletic Bilbao

Athletic may have gone seven away league matches without a win against fellow Basque opposition, but they have lost just one of their 11 La Liga encounters with Eibar. Three of the last four encounters have finished all square, meanwhile, and we are expecting the spoils to be shared on Wednesday.

Real Valladolid vs. Celta Vigo (Wednesday, 6.30pm)

Two sides looking to distance themselves from the La Liga relegation zone will lock horns on Wednesday as Real Valladolid play host to Celta Vigo at the Estadio Jose Zorrilla.

Valladolid enjoyed a 2-1 victory over Leganes as the Spanish top flight returned to action last weekend, whereas Celta suffered a 1-0 home defeat to European-chasing Villarreal.

We say: Real Valladolid 1-0 Celta Vigo

Both teams will be determined to move further away from the drop zone at this crucial stage of the season, but Celta have struggled on the road and Valladolid will be full of confidence following their victory over Leganes, so we are going for a narrow home win.

Osasuna vs. Atletico (Wednesday, 9.00pm)

Osasuna prepare to welcome European hopefuls Atletico Madrid to the Estadio El Sadar as La Liga enters its second round of fixtures since returning amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The two sides both played out 1-1 draws at the weekend and will be looking to get their first wins on the board since the restart.

We say: Osasuna 1-2 Atletico Madrid

Atletico will know that they cannot afford to drop two more points as they fight for their place among Europe's elite, and although they are facing an Osasuna side that can be difficult to break down, we expect Simeone's men to just about get the job done in midweek.
