Atletico Madrid have been boosted by the news that first-choice right-back Juanfran completed a training session ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash against Galatasaray.
The Spanish international picked up a thigh injury in Atletico's 1-0 win over Sporting Gijon before the recent international break and was forced to pull out of the Spain squad with the problem.
Juanfran also missed Atletico's 1-0 win over Real Betis on Sunday, but he was present during the main group's training session on Monday, fuelling suggestions that he will be fit to return for the Champions League encounter.
Jackson Martinez was also present at the training ground, but underwent a session away from the main group as he recovers from an ankle problem.
