Aston Villa full-back Joe Bennett has completed a loan move to Sheffield Wednesday.
The 25-year-old, who has had temporary stints with Brighton & Hove Albion and Bournemouth over recent months, has agreed to remain at Hillsborough until the end of the season.
"I'm looking forward to this move and getting games under my belt," he told the club's official website.
"I know my duties defensively but I like to be creative, I have a lot of energy and I'm keen to show the Wednesday fans what I can do.
"You always want to join clubs that are doing well and looking to push forward and that is exactly what Sheffield Wednesday are doing."
Bennett is expected to go straight into the squad for the weekend's Championship encounter away at Reading.
