Aston Villa are reportedly considering an approach for Burnley manager Sean Dyche to replace Tim Sherwood.
Sherwood was relieved of his duties at Villa Park earlier today, with the Villans currently bottom of the Premier League table having taken just four points from their first 10 fixtures.
Dyche led Burnley to promotion from the Championship in 2014, although he was unable to keep the Lancashire side in the top flight last season.
According to ESPN, Dyche is in the frame to take on the vacant managerial role at the West Midlands club.
Burnley are currently third in the Championship table, having won seven of their first 13 fixtures of the season.
