Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova insists that he has no intention to sell Arsenal target David Villa.

Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova has insisted that David Villa will not be leaving the club.

The striker, who recently returned to the side following a broken leg, has been linked with a move to Arsenal.

"David will not leave, we are very happy with him," Vilanova told reporters.

"It's been a long recovery process, but we know his importance to the team, and we're sure that he will help us."

Barca maintained their 11-point lead at the top of the La Liga table on Sunday with a 3-1 win at Malaga.
