Luis Suarez considering legal action against Liverpool?

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is prepared to pursue legal action against the Reds to force through a move away from Anfield this summer, according to reports.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is reportedly prepared to take legal action against his current employers to force through a summer exit from Anfield.

Suarez has seen the Reds turn down a pair of bids from Arsenal during the close season, despite openly admitting that he sees his long-term future away from Merseyside.

The Uruguayan forward remains adamant that Arsenal's latest offer of £40,000,001 entitles him to talk terms over a move the Emirates, with Liverpool insisting they are only obliged to inform the player that an offer has been submitted.

With the two parties deadlocked, Suarez's representatives are prepared to pursue legal action to establish whether Liverpool are currently in breach of contract, according to the Daily Mail.

Suarez's advisers, including agent Pere Guardiola, are currently seeking clarification from Premier League officials over their interpretation of the clause.

The 26-year-old is yet to hand in an official transfer request, with the striker thought to view that step as a last resort.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has repeatedly stated that he believes Suarez will remain a Liverpool player when the transfer window closes next month.
