Arsene Wenger: 'We've acted properly in Luis Suarez pursuit'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists that the club have "acted properly" in their pursuit of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that the club have "acted properly" in their pursuit of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

Reds manager Brendan Rodgers hit out at the North London outfit, claiming that their £40,000,001 bid for the controversial Uruguayan lacked class.

"We always try to act properly but a transfer is always an agreement between three parties," The Express quotes Wenger as saying. "And we have always acted properly until now."

Rodgers has reiterated that the club are unwilling to sell Suarez, who is reported to be keen on leaving Anfield in order to play in the Champions League.
