Arsenal 'targeting a £5m move' for Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina

Arsenal are reportedly targeting a move for Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina for a fee in the region of £5m.

Arsenal are lining up a £5m bid for Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina this summer, according to reports.

The 31-year-old was a transfer target for Arsene Wenger four years ago, when the Frenchman attempted to sign Reina for £20m.

The Gunners are looking for a back-up goalkeeper following the departure of Lukasz Fabianski to Swansea City.

Reina spent the whole of last season on loan at Serie A side Napoli, but Liverpool would prefer a permanent deal this summer, rather than another stint at Rafael Benitez's side.
