Arsenal open David Marshall talks?

Arsenal reportedly open talks with Cardiff City over a move for goalkeeper David Marshall.

Arsenal are understood to have opened talks with Cardiff City over a move for goalkeeper David Marshall.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is thought to want an established shot-stopper to rival Wojciech Szczesny following the departure of Lukasz Fabianski to Swansea City last month.

Arsenal would be willing to pay around £8m for the 29-year-old Scotland international, according to Goal.com.

Marshall, who joined Cardiff from Norwich City in 2009, has four years left to run on his contract with the Championship club.
