Report: Arsenal eye Iker Casillas

Arsenal reportedly set their sights on signing Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas this summer.

Arsenal have reportedly set their sights on signing Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas this summer.

The Gunners are widely believed to be in the market for another shot-stopper after Lukasz Fabianski sealed a switch to Swansea City last month.

According to Madrid-based newspaper AS, manager Arsene Wenger has identified the Spain captain as the ideal candidate to rival Wojciech Szczesny for the number one shirt.

The 33-year-old, who has three years remaining on his contract, will skipper la Roja as they bid to defend their World Cup title this summer.
