Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly made one final attempt to prise Idrissa Gueye away from Everton on deadline day.
The Ligue 1 champions had seen a £21.5m bid rejected before further negotiations also proved fruitless, with Everton understood to have told clubs that the midfielder would not be leaving before tonight's 11pm deadline.
However, Sky Sports News reports that PSG have not yet given up on securing his signature and have made a last-ditch €30m (£26.2m) approach.
Everton are still reluctant to lose the 29-year-old and quickly rejected the approach, but the player himself is thought to be keen on a move to the French capital.
Manchester City and Arsenal had also been credited with an interest in Gueye, but PSG are now thought to be the only team in the running to sign him before the transfer window closes.
Gueye joined Everton in 2016 and has made almost 100 appearances for the club across all competitions.
