Manchester City and Liverpool are reportedly considering a move to sign Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka in the summer.

The 20-year-old is regarded as a key player for the Gunners under Mikel Arteta and he is enjoying the current campaign in front of goal, netting seven times and providing four assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

Arsenal are believed to be working on a new long-term contract for the England international, who will see his current deal expire in June 2024.

However, ESPN reports that both City and Liverpool are 'watching the progress' of Saka and will consider making a move for the winger if Arsenal fail to qualify for the Champions League.

While Pep Guardiola is set to prioritise the addition of a central striker in the summer, the Citizens continue to scout young talents across the globe, and Saka is believed to be one name who they are keeping a close eye on.

Jurgen Klopp, meanwhile, recruited Luis Diaz on deadline day, but the Reds still hold an interest in Saka as a potential long-term replacement for either Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane or Roberto Firmino, who will all be in their 30s at the start of next season.

Saka, who won the FA Cup with Arsenal in 2020, has made a total of 114 appearances for his boyhood club across all competitions, scoring 18 goals and registering 25 assists.
