Avoiding a catastrophic sixth defeat in a row will be the aim for Manchester City when Feyenoord touch down at the Etihad for Tuesday's Champions League league phase showdown.
Pep Guardiola's out-of-sorts troops were torn to shreds in a 4-0 Premier League loss to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, not long after an equally humiliating 4-1 UCL thumping at the hands of Sporting Lisbon.
However, the Citizens are still 11 places better off than Feyenoord in the Champions League table, although both of the visitors' victories in this season's competition have come away from home.

When Manchester City and Feyenoord encounter one another on Tuesday night, it will mark just the third competitive meeting between the English and Dutch giants, whose inaugural battles were fought in the 2017-18 Champions League group stage.
Guardiola's men unsurprisingly reigned supreme that year, decimating Feyenoord 4-0 at De Kuip in their first-ever showdown in September 2017, a couple of months before a nervy 1-0 victory on home soil.
The four-goal thrashing in the Netherlands saw an unlikely source strike twice for Man City, as John Stones conjured up a brace, including what was the Citizens' quickest-ever Champions League goal at the time inside the opening two minutes, although Kevin De Bruyne's effort versus Real Madrid in 2022 was quicker.
Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus also found the net inside the first half of that thrashing before Stones completed his double in the second 45 minutes, but Feyenoord managed to tighten up at the back significantly in November 2017.
Under the tutelage of former Netherlands defender Giovanni Van Bronckhorst, Feyenoord looked set to leave the Etihad with a hard-earned point, having kept Man City at bay for over 85 minutes on the night.
However, with just two minutes of normal time left to play, Raheem Sterling broke the deadlock to seal a first-placed finish in the section for Man City, who prolonged a dismal sequence of UCL results for Feyenoord against English teams.
Indeed, the Eredivisie giants have only beaten a Premier League side once in 10 attempts in the Champions League, edging out Newcastle United 1-0 in September 2002, losing eight of their other nine contests versus English foes.
