Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is reportedly expected to snub Arsenal in favour of a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is reportedly leaning closer to a switch to Tottenham Hotspur as opposed to a possible move to Arsenal.

Both North London outfits have been linked with an approach for the Frenchman, with reports claiming that Spurs are willing to spend £13m on the shot-stopper.

While it was thought that Lloris was on the verge of moving to the Emirates, it is understood that the 25-year-old has since changed his mind, according to L'Equipe.

It is believed that new Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas's assurance to Lloris that he will receive more first-team football has tipped the scale in Tottenham's favour.
