Tottenham Hotspur have made a £13m bid for Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, according to reports.
Earlier this week, Les Gones president Jean-Michel Aulas revealed that the France international would be allowed to leave for £16m.
However, The Sun reports that Spurs have tested the water with an opening bid £3m lower than their asking price.
Lloris, 25, is regarded as one of Europe's finest between the sticks, which has led to links with Spurs' North London rivals Arsenal, as well as Liverpool.
