Tottenham Hotspur have stepped up their bid to bring French international goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to White Hart Lane.
The Premier League side are about to table a £10m bid for the Lyon shotstopper, according to the Daily Mail.
Spurs are seeking a replacement for veteran keeper Brad Friedel, who turns 41 in May. His back-up Heurelho Gomes is reportedly keen on a move away from the club.
Lloris impressed during France's Euro 2012 qualifying campaign, and is expected to start against England at this summer's finals.
Lyon are said to be keen to hold on to the player, but may be convinced otherwise by the transfer sum.
