Former Arsenal striker Gervinho has joined Serie A newcomers Parma on a three-year deal.
The 31-year-old has penned a deal through to 2021 after seeing his contract with Chinese Super League side Hebei China Fortune terminated.
Gervinho's deal still had six months left to run, but the Ivory Coast international has been freed to begin a second stint in the Italian top flight.
The forward played for Arsenal from 2011 to 2013, scoring 11 goals in 63 games, before spending two-and-a-half seasons with Roma, departing with 26 strikes from 88 appearances.
Parma were declared bankrupt in 2015 and have since worked their way back to the top tier through three successive promotions.
