Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho is reportedly against joining Arsenal on a season-long loan.
The Spanish champions are allegedly prepared to allow the Brazil international to leave Camp Nou on a temporary deal before this summer's transfer window closes for business.
The Gunners are said to have launched an approach for the 27-year-old, who has struggled to show his best form since joining the Catalan giants from Liverpool in January 2018.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Coutinho has no intention of leaving Ernesto Valverde's side on loan this summer, effectively ending Arsenal's pursuit of the playmaker.
Coutinho, who helped his country win the Copa America earlier this summer, only scored five times in 34 La Liga appearances for Barca during the 2018-19 campaign.
Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have also all been credited with an interest since the end of last season.
