Chelsea and Arsenal are still hoping to sign Nice midfielder and Ivory Coast international Jean Michael Seri, according to a report.

Chelsea and Arsenal are reportedly still interested in signing Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri.

Since helping the French outfit qualify for the Champions League playoffs last year, the Ivory Coast star has been strongly linked with a move to some of Europe's biggest clubs.

According to Sky Sports News, Chelsea are keen on Seri, but the player himself is thought to be put off by the uncertain managerial situation at Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, Arsenal's alleged interest in Seri is through head of football relations Raul Sanllehi, who almost signed the 26-year-old last summer when he was working for Barcelona.

Seri is also thought to be a target for Manchester City, whose former coach Patrick Vieira has since taken the reins at Nice, and Borussia Dortmund, who are managed by Seri's former manager Lucien Favre.
