Arsenal are reportedly nearing the capture of Paris Saint-Germain teenager Yacine Adli.

The 17-year-old scored once in 11 appearances in the UEFA Youth League last term before making his first-team debut for the French giants on the final weekend of the 2017-18 Ligue 1 campaign.

According to Paris United, Adli has rejected the chance to extend his stay at PSG by accepting a three-year contract at the Emirates Stadium, where he will reunite with new Gunners boss Unai Emery.

Adli has featured for France at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 levels, and is believed to have turned down a more lucrative offer from PSG to agree a deal with Arsenal.

The Gunners are also said to be on the verge of announcing the capture of Switzerland full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner, who is available on a free transfer from Juventus, on a one-year contract.
