Arsenal are reportedly ahead of Barcelona in the race to sign Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for his Basque club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring seven times and contributing two assists in 22 appearances in all competitions.
Isak's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with the La Liga outfit facing a battle to keep hold of him, despite the fact that the forward penned a new long-term deal in July.
According to El Nacional, Real Sociedad are not prepared to sell the attacker to Barcelona, meaning that Arsenal are at the head of the queue for his signature.
The report claims that Gunners boss Mikel Arteta will allow both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to leave the Emirates Stadium if Isak arrives at the club.
The Sweden international - also linked with Juventus - has scored 40 goals and registered seven assists in 111 appearances for Real Sociedad since making the move from Borussia Dortmund in 2019.
