Arsenal, Bayern Munich want Barcelona youngster Alex Grimaldo?

Arsenal and Bayern Munich are reportedly keen on signing Barcelona youngster Alex Grimaldo, who is searching for first-team action.

Arsenal and Bayern Munich are reportedly expected to fight for the signature of Barcelona youngster Alex Grimaldo.

The Spanish giants' sporting director Robert Fernandez claimed this week that the 20-year-old full-back is not interested in signing a new deal.

According to The Mirror, Grimaldo would like to stay at the Catalan club as long as he is given assurances that he will be promoted to the first team from Barcelona B.

However, the youngster will reportedly look elsewhere if he is not offered first-team senior football, with Arsenal and Bayern at the top of the suitors list.

Grimaldo's current contract with the Spanish side expires next summer.
