Peter Bosz: 'Riechedly Bazoer set to leave Ajax in January'

Ajax manager Peter Bosz admits that highly-rated midfielder Riechedly Bazoer is unlikely to remain at the Amsterdam ArenA after the January transfer window.

Ajax manager Peter Bosz has admitted that highly-rated midfielder Riechedly Bazoer is set to leave in January.

The 20-year-old has made 51 league appearances for the Eredivisie giants since breaking into the first team in 2014-15 and, despite his young age, has been capped six times for the Netherlands.

Bazoer has been left out of the Ajax squad for Thursday night's Europa League clash against Standard Liege, and Bosz expects the Utrecht-born talent to move on in the New Year.

He is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "After talks with Riechedly I assume there is a big chance that he is not with this team anymore after the winter break.

"Against Standard I want to play young players so they can get used to this international level."

The Dutchman has been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City, while Barcelona are also believed to have been monitoring his progress.
