Hamburger SV goalkeeper Rene Adler distances himself from a move away from the Imtech Arena.

Hamburger SV goalkeeper Rene Adler has ignored speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal.

A new stopper is thought to be a high priority for Arsene Wenger this summer, with reports suggesting that the German international is among his list of targets.

However, the 28-year-old, who only arrived at the Imtech Arena on a free transfer from Bayer Leverkusen last summer, said that he has not thought about leaving Rothosen.

"I am under contract with Hamburg, that is a fact," Adler told Bild.

"I can say that I have not thought about leaving or considered a transfer since I joined Hamburg."

Adler's contract runs until 2017.
