Hamburger SV goalkeeper Rene Adler has expressed his "pleasure and honour" at being linked with a summer move to Arsenal.
Recent reports have claimed that the Gunners are looking to sign a more experienced stopper to provide competition for Wojciech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski, leading to suggestions that the 28-year-old is a target for the North Londoners.
However, in addition to his club denying any contact from the Premier League outfit, Adler highlighted his current commitment to Hamburg.
"I am under contract with Hamburg, but for every professional it will be a pleasure and honour to get linked with a club like this," said Adler.
"This is flattering. It will absolutely hand me more motivation, I will not lose my focus."
Adler has 11 caps for Germany.
