Saturday's Premier League predictions including Man City vs. Newcastle

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Man City vs. Newcastle.

Man City vs. Newcastle (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Off the back of contrasting results in two different cup competitions, Manchester City and Newcastle United lock horns at the Etihad Stadium for a Premier League clash on Saturday lunchtime.

While the Magpies are seeking to bounce back from their EFL Cup final heartache last weekend, the Citizens will be looking to build on their comfortable FA Cup fifth-round victory in midweek.

We say: Manchester City 3-1 Newcastle United

While there have been no more than two goals scored in 10 of Newcastle's last 12 matches across all competitions, the net rippled on six occasions the last time that they faced Man City, and more goalmouth action could be on the cards on Saturday.

The Magpies will be keen to respond with a resilient performance at the Etihad, but they may struggle to handle a title-chasing Citizens side who have looked more like their clinical selves in the last two games.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Arsenal vs. Bournemouth (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Seeking a fourth Premier League win on the bounce to remain in control of their title destiny, Arsenal welcome relegation-threatened Bournemouth to the Emirates on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners thumped Everton 4-0 on Wednesday night to extend their lead at the summit, while the Cherries' most recent contest ended in a 4-1 defeat to Manchester City.

We say: Arsenal 3-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth gave Man City a few scares last weekend and deservedly breached the champions' defence, but similar attempts to silence the Emirates crowd will be met with heavy resistance by Arteta's rejuvenated crop.

Even with midweek fatigue working against them, Arsenal ought to maintain their unassailable lead in first place with another straightforward win, notching plenty of goals en route.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Aston Villa vs. Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3.00pm)

A mid-table Premier League clash takes place at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon as 11th-placed Aston Villa play host to 12th-placed Crystal Palace.

While Unai Emery's side are seeking to avoid a third successive home defeat, Patrick Vieira's men are hoping to end a three-game winless run on the road.

We say: Aston Villa 2-1 Crystal Palace

Aston Villa have conceded 15 goals in their last six home matches since the World Cup break, so Crystal Palace will fancy their chances of finding the net on Saturday.

However, the hosts have had few problems at the other end, and with in-form Watkins leading the line, we can see Emery's side coming away with maximum points.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Brighton vs. West Ham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Following contrasting results in their recent FA Cup clashes, Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham United return to Premier League duties with Saturday's clash at the Amex Stadium.

The Seagulls advanced to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup courtesy of a 1-0 win over Stoke City in midweek, while the Hammers were seen off 3-1 by Manchester United.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 West Ham United

Even with an injection of confidence from last week's thumping of Nottingham Forest, West Ham's spate of failures on the road should prove costly against a Brighton side working with an extra day's rest.

De Zerbi's men cannot expect to blow the Hammers away given their recent blip, but the hosts can expect to prolong their unbeaten Premier League record against Moyes's men, whose demotion fears should deepen as Brighton remain in the hunt for Europe.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Chelsea vs. Leeds (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Chelsea will seek to ease the pressure on Graham Potter and end their six-game winless run when they welcome relegation-threatened Leeds United to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday.

The two teams have endured similar runs of form since the turn of the year, with the Blues winning just one of their last nine top-flight matches and the Whites picking up maximum points in only one of their last eight.

We say: Chelsea 1-1 Leeds United

Every game will be regarded as a must-win for both Chelsea and Leeds, including Saturday's contest, as they bid to end the current campaign on a high and reach their respective targets.

Predicting a win for either side has been difficult over the last few months, and although the Blues will be considered as favourites to come out on top at Stamford Bridge, a tight affair and a share of the spoils could be on the cards this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Wolves vs. Spurs (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Having both suffered lowly midweek defeats, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur will endeavour to get back on track in Saturday's Premier League contest at Molineux.

Julen Lopetegui's crop fell to a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Wednesday evening, while the Lilywhites' bid to end their 15-year trophy drought became all the more difficult as they lost 1-0 to Sheffield United in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

We say: Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Reverting to the system and personnel that admirably kept Chelsea at bay should do the trick for Tottenham this week, as Wolves' ironic lack of bite bedevils them against Conte's refreshed regulars.

Even with Molineux superstition and concerns over Kane's fitness working against them, if Tottenham can replicate last weekend's defensive display, the Lilywhites should travel back to North London with a hard-earned three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Southampton vs. Leicester (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Southampton and Leicester City will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing FA Cup fifth-round exits when they face off at St Mary's in the Premier League on Saturday.

While the Saints have lost each of their last five home league matches, the Foxes have suffered defeat in three of their last four top-flight games on the road.

We say: Southampton 1-3 Leicester City

An entertaining end-to-end contest could be on the cards at St Mary's between two teams who can ill-afford to drop more points as they bid to avoid relegation.

Considering Southampton's home form and Leicester's threat in the final third, we believes that the Foxes will outscore their opponents and claim three valuable points.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.
