Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen believes that the club have to take advantage of the momentum that they have built in recent weeks.
The Gunners have won four matches in a row in a run that has seen them move into third place in the Premier League table, and the Belgian international has admitted that their game with Everton on Tuesday night is vital if they want to remain in the top four.
The 27-year-old told the club's official website: "We are on a run now. We have got good momentum at the moment. We are winning a lot of games.
"Tuesday is an important game again at home so we have to keep fighting and try to get three points."
Vermaelen returned to the Arsenal starting lineup for their 3-1 victory over Norwich City last Saturday.
