Arsenal team news: Injury list vs. Bayern Munich - Martin Odegaard doubt, Jurrien Timber return date edges closer

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

Arsenal will be bidding to book their spot in the semi-finals of the Champions League when they head to Bayern Munich for the second leg of their quarter-final on Wednesday night.

The last-eight tie is delicately poised following a 2-2 draw in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium last week.

Arsenal will enter the match off the back of a 2-0 home defeat to Aston Villa in the Premier League, which has left Mikel Arteta's side second in the table, two points behind the leaders Manchester City.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the capital club's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Bayern, who saw Bayer Leverkusen secure the Bundesliga title on Sunday.

Jurrien Timber

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Timber is currently the only Arsenal player definitely unavailable for selection, with the Netherlands international still working his way back from the serious knee injury that he sustained last August. However, he is back in first-team training and is set to feature in an "in-house game" before returning to action, which should be before the end of the campaign.

Martin Odegaard

Type of injury: Unknown
Possible return date: April 17 (vs. Bayern Munich)

Odegaard has emerged as a doubt for the second leg against Bayern after picking up an injury problem in the second half of the clash with Villa, and he will therefore need to be assessed ahead of this mach.
