Report: Aleix Vidal has Sevilla medical

Almeria midfielder Aleix Vidal has reportedly undergone a medical ahead of a move to Sevilla.

The 24-year-old, who scored six times in 36 games for Almeria last season, has long been linked with a move to the Estadio Ramon.

Talk of a deal has somewhat cooled over the last week or so, but according to Marca, the Spaniard has today completed a medical with the Europa League winners.

"I'll be a father in November and although the girl is a little ahead on the list, the call from Sevilla is the best thing that has happened to me," Vidal recently told reporters.

"My first choice has always been Sevilla. I've been playing for many years and I like a lot of Sevilla, the Coach, the way they play... I'm coming."

Vidal has been with Almeria since 2011.
