Report: Sevilla close to Aleix Vidal capture

A report claims that Sevilla are close to signing Aleix Vidal from Almeria.

Sevilla are reportedly close to signing Aleix Vidal from Almeria on a long-term deal.

The Spaniard made 38 La Liga appearances for the newly-promoted outfit last season, scoring six times in the process.

The winger's form led to suggestions of widespread interest, but according to Diario de Almeria, Sevilla have won the race for the 24-year-old and will soon officially announce his capture.

The same report has claimed that Sevilla goalkeeper Julian Cuesta will remain on loan at Almeria as part of the deal.

Sevilla won the Europa League last season.
