Salford City Reds owner Marwan Koukash has revealed that they have put in a bid for Canterbury Bulldogs star Frank Pritchard.
The 29-year-old is believed to be one of a number of targets for the Reds, who have also been linked with a swoop for St Helens' Tony Puletua.
"We have made an offer to Pritchard and are waiting to hear back from him," Koukash told the Manchester Evening News. "We feel he would be a tremendous signing. He is a quality forward. We are looking to bring in two big second row forwards to bolster our squad."
The club are also said to be interested in securing Rangi Chase from Castleford.
