James Henry to make Wolverhampton Wanderers return?

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett reveals that James Henry could be fit enough to return for Friday's game at Middlesbrough.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder James Henry could be fit enough for the trip to Middlesbrough on Friday, according to manager Kenny Jackett.

The 26-year-old has missed almost three weeks with a hamstring injury, but could pass a late fitness test to feature against the Championship promotion hopefuls at the Riverside.

Speaking to press ahead of the televised clash, Jackett also revealed that mid-season signings Michal Zyro and Mike Williamson are close to returning but will not be ready by Friday.

"We'll see this week, they're not far away. My first impressions are maybe Henry will be fit," the Express & Star quotes Jackett as saying. "We're not sure with the other two yet, we'll see, but they're outside training.

"Henry certainly needs a full week's training, but he's only been out for two weeks. Zyro's not too long and Williamson's a bit further and possibly will need an in-house game, it depends on how he goes in training.

"Certainly Henry won't need [an Under-21 game]. If things go well this week I do feel he has a chance of helping us on Friday."

Wolves are currently 13th in the Championship, having finally ended their seven-game winless run with victory over Derby County last time out.
