Swansea striker Miguel Michu insists that Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was not to blame for their collision on Sunday.

Swansea City striker Miguel Michu has insisted that no-one was to blame for his collision with Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris during the match between the two sides on Sunday.

The pair clashed when Lloris marginally beat Michu to a bouncing ball, resulting in a collision that left the Swansea player requiring several minutes of treatment.

However, despite revealing that he had suffered from an headache two days after the match, the Spanish attacker says that he will not deter from future 50-50 challenges.

Michu told Sky Sports News: "It was a big collision between me and Lloris. We both went after the ball and it was unfortunate for me that he just got there first. I was in pain - I had a headache until Tuesday - but it was no-one's fault.

"I am a player who wants to win the ball and if that means getting hurt in the process then that's fine.

"If the opportunity arises again this Sunday against Manchester United I will go through it again; I won't be pulling out of any challenge like that because I want to score for my team."

Michu has scored 12 goals for Swansea this season.
