Gareth Bale hints that he could quit Tottenham Hotspur if they fail to clinch a Champions League spot.

Tottenham Hotspur's Gareth Bale has hinted that he could leave the club this summer if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Harry Redknapp's side spent much of the season as title contenders, but have slumped to fifth after a run of just three wins in 14 games.

The Wales midfielder told BBC Sport: "If we don't [qualify for the Champions League], I have to discuss what's best for myself."

Spurs lie three points behind Newcastle United in fourth, a position they must claim if they are to stand any chance of Champions League football next season.

Tottenham are in Premier League action on Sunday when they take on Blackburn Rovers at home.
