Santos have submitted a bid for Sheffield Wednesday attacker Josh Windass.
The 30-year-old is having an extremely productive campaign in the Championship for the Owls, who survived relegation by the skin of their teeth last term.
Danny Rohl's men are having a better time of things this campaign and Windass is thriving, featuring across 24 second-tier contests so far this season.
He has bagged a sensational 10 goals and has provided two assists for teammates, meaning that he only trails the division's leading marksman Borja Sainz by five strikes.
Windass netted a Goal-of-the-Season contender during the first day of the new year last week, finding the net from his own half against Derby County.
Speaking to the media via talkSPORT, the 30-year-old confirmed that his agent has received an offer from Brazilian giants Santos during the winter transfer window.
The former club of Pele are facing the 2025 campaign in the second tier of their domestic system after suffering an unthinkable relegation during 2024.
Santos are currently managed by Pedro Caixinha, who was in charge of Rangers while Windass plied his trade at Ibrox for a few months during 2017.
