Sports Mole rounds up all of the latest transfer news and rumours including Josh Windass to Brazilian giants Santos and Cameron Carter-Vickers's potential Celtic exit.

Santos have submitted a bid for Sheffield Wednesday attacker Josh Windass.

The 30-year-old is having an extremely productive campaign in the Championship for the Owls, who survived relegation by the skin of their teeth last term.

Danny Rohl's men are having a better time of things this campaign and Windass is thriving, featuring across 24 second-tier contests so far this season.

He has bagged a sensational 10 goals and has provided two assists for teammates, meaning that he only trails the division's leading marksman Borja Sainz by five strikes.

Windass netted a Goal-of-the-Season contender during the first day of the new year last week, finding the net from his own half against Derby County.

Speaking to the media via talkSPORT, the 30-year-old confirmed that his agent has received an offer from Brazilian giants Santos during the winter transfer window.

The former club of Pele are facing the 2025 campaign in the second tier of their domestic system after suffering an unthinkable relegation during 2024.

Santos are currently managed by Pedro Caixinha, who was in charge of Rangers while Windass plied his trade at Ibrox for a few months during 2017.

Carter-Vickers Celtic exit?

Focusing on the other side of top-flight battlelines in Glasgow, Celtic are fighting hard to keep hold of one of their key first-team players.

According to Football Insider, the Bhoys have laid out their transfer strategy surrounding the future of top defender Cameron Carter-Vickers.

The report claims that Celtic will only be willing to entertain offers for the 27-year-old if their ambitious asking price is met this month.

Brendan Rodgers's men are allegedly are targeting at least £20m for the services of Carter-Vickers, who is a key member of the side's back four.

It is believed that the USA international is currently content at Parkhead and will not push for an exit to a foreign club during the winter trading point.

With Carter-Vickers contracted to the club until the summer of 2029, Celtic are in an excellent position to drive a hard bargain for the player.

There has supposedly been interest in the centre-back from Bayer Leverkusen, who are struggling to live up to the heights of their unbeaten Bundesliga campaign of 2023-24.

Palace youngster to leave Selhurst Park?

Finally, the second half of the 2024-25 campaign could see the breakthrough of the next Crystal Palace star onto the senior stage in Britain.

As per Football Insider, the Eagles are ready to send promising youngster Jadan Raymond on loan for the remainder of the current campaign.

The 21-year-old has returned to full fitness following a number of injury problems and is ready for his maiden taste of first-team football.

It is understood that Colchester United of League Two are keen on Raymond, who would not have to travel far for that particular temporary switch.

On the other hand, a jaunt to Scottish Premiership outfit Dundee is supposedly also on the cards, with the Dark Blues fighting to avoid relegation this term.
