Paris Saint-Germain have taken a 2-0 lead into the halfway stage of their Ligue 1 clash with Nantes this evening.
The hosts broke the deadlock after just 10 minutes when Edinson Cavani won a header from a corner that Remy Riou could only palm straight to Thiago Silva, who had a simple tap-in for his third goal of the season.

They then doubled their lead in the 35th minute when Chaker Alhadhur brought down Marco Verratti inside the box after the PSG midfielder had pounced on a poor back-pass.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic stepped up to the spot kick and made no mistake with his finish to put his side in complete control of the match.
PSG had another chance right on the stroke of half time when Ezequiel Lavezzi found Cavani inside the box, but he could not steer his effort towards goal from a good position.
Lavezzi had a sight of goal himself shortly afterwards when Ibrahimovic left the ball for him at the back post, but his volley slammed into the side-netting as the hosts went into the break with just a two-goal advantage.
