Bahrain have appointed English coach Anthony Hudson as their new national team manager.
The 32-year-old, who spent spells at Luton Town and NEC Nijmegen during his playing career, has previous managerial experience with Real Maryland Monarchs and Newport County.
He also coached at Tottenham Hotspur under former boss Harry Redknapp and at Real Madrid during Jose Mourinho's reign.
Hudson replaces Argentine Gabriel Calderon, who was sacked following Bahrain's elimination from World Cup qualifying.
