Manchester United are allegedly open to signing an alternative to goalkeeper Andre Onana.
The 28-year-old has been a mainstay between the sticks for United since arriving from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023.
However, just 20 clean sheets have been kept from his 76 appearances in all competitions, accompanied by a number of high-profile mistakes.
On Boxing Day, and for the second time in the space of a week, United conceded directly from a corner kick during their 2-0 reverse to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
According to The Sun, that has seemingly led to head coach Ruben Amorim being increasingly open to signing a long-term replacement.

Who is on United's radar?
Amorim has allegedly become concerned about the performances of Onana at a time when United have suffered four defeats in their last five Premier League fixtures.
Onana's only two shutouts in his last 11 top-flight outings came in home matches against Everton and Leicester City respectively.
The report alleges that Royal Antwerp stopper Senne Lammens is a goalkeeper that has been identified as a potential alternative to Onana.
Lammens, a Belgium Under-21 international, has made 36 appearances for his current club in all competitions, 20 of which have come in this season's top flight.
Antwerp may be prepared to demand in the region of £20m should any club make an approach for Lammens - who holds a contract until 2027 - in January or beyond.
That said, United are allegedly not priortising a move for a goalkeeper next month, unless an opportunity arises or if they create room with regards to their position with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability regulations.

Any hope for Bayindir?
At times, there have been questions over why second-choice Altay Bayindir has not been provided with more chances for United.
The former Fenerbahce goalkeeper has made just four starts - all in domestic cup competitions - since arriving in September 2023.
As it stands, there appears little prospect of the 26-year-old being handed another chance after his performance in the recent 4-3 reverse at Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup.
Eight goals have been conceded in his four outings, including two strikes in each of the games against Newport County and Leicester City.
