Report: Javier Hernandez to be given Manchester United chance in final friendly

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal will reportedly start Javier Hernandez against Paris Saint-Germain this week.

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez will be given a chance to impress manager Louis van Gaal against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.

The Mexican last played for United in their 4-0 humiliation against MK Dons last season, before being loaned out to Real Madrid.

However, Van Gaal confirmed that he will be given a chance to force his way back into United's squad for this campaign, and The Mirror claims that he will start their final pre-season friendly in Chicago.

The 27-year-old's United contract expires next summer.
