Chelsea's Pedro explains Manchester United snub

Pedro explains that Manchester United's indecision was the reason behind his move to Chelsea from Barcelona last month.

Pedro has revealed that Manchester United's indecision in the transfer market was the reason he chose to join Chelsea.

The Spain international signed for Jose
Mourinho's side last month from Barcelona for around £22m, snubbing the Red Devils.

He told Marca: "I saw Manchester United weren't acting and I needed a team to start the season. Chelsea were the more decisive.

"Mourinho is different face to face. He treats you like you're part of his family. He cares, values and has a lot of respect for his players and challenges them.

"After the Champions League win, I explained my situation to [Barca coach Luis Enrique], that I wasn't going to stay. At the start of the pre-season, I told him I'd decided to leave. He understood and supported me."

Chelsea visit Everton after the international break on September 12.
