Marcus Rashford could earn a recall to the Manchester United squad for Monday's Premier League clash against Newcastle United.
The England international has not been involved for the Red Devils since December 12, missing their last four matches in all competitions.
Man United head coach Ruben Amorim initially left Rashford out of the squad for the Manchester derby due to concerns over his training performances, while his general behaviour around the Carrington training complex also contributed to him being overlooked.
Rashford has since expressed a desire to leave Man United in search of a fresh challenge, and it remains to be seen whether he represents the 20-time English champions again, with a January departure believed to be possible.
The 27-year-old has scored seven times and registered three assists in 24 appearances for the Red Devils this term, and with that in mind, Sports Mole looks at how the Englishman has performed against Newcastle during his professional career.

Rashford has faced the Magpies on 14 occasions at first-team level, boasting a record of eight wins, two draws and four defeats against them, scoring five goals and registering three assists in the process.
As expected, the bulk of those matches (12) have taken place in the Premier League, with Rashford winning seven, drawing two and losing three of his previous league encounters with Newcastle.
Rashford has also tackled the Magpies twice in the EFL Cup, scoring once, with his goal coming in the final in 2023, but he was also a part of the side that suffered a 3-0 defeat to Eddie Howe's side in last season's tournament, coming off the bench in the second period.
The attacker, meanwhile, has managed four goals and three assists against Newcastle in the Premier League.
Arguably Rashford's best performance against Newcastle came at St James' Park, with the Englishman scoring once and providing two assists in a 4-1 success for the Red Devils in the early stages of the 2020-21 campaign.
The forward has not managed to score in his last five Premier League games with the Magpies, though, which have brought one win, two draws and two defeats for the 20-time English champions.
Rashford played 61 minutes of a 1-0 defeat for Man United at St James' Park in the first half of the 2023-24 campaign, before featuring as a late substitute in his side's 3-2 victory in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford.
