Roy Keane: 'Ashley Young not good enough for Manchester United'

Manchester United legend Roy Keane says that winger Ashley Young is not good enough to play for the club.

Manchester United legend Roy Keane has said that winger Ashley Young is not good enough to play for the club, having spoken out during ITV's live coverage of their Champions League encounter tonight.

Young has come in for criticism of late following some lacklustre performances early in the season, while also being embroiled in a debacle surrounding diving accusations.

During ITV's half-time coverage of the game, the former United midfielder criticised the winger following an ineffectual performance in the first half.

"Ashley Young has been at Man Utd for two or three years and is just not good enough," said Keane.

Young could be back in action for United this weekend as they travel to face Aston Villa in the Premier League.
