Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne suggests that he has no intention of leaving Manchester City in the foreseeable future.

Kevin De Bruyne has played down speculation linking him with a move away from Manchester City, reiterating that he feels "comfortable" at the Etihad Stadium.

Despite City's relative struggles this season, De Bruyne has enjoyed a stunning individual campaign, contributing seven goals and 16 assists in the Premier League and Champions League.

However, while Real Madrid and Barcelona have been credited with an interest in the 28-year-old, it appears that they will fail with any bid for the Belgium international.

De Bruyne told Sport360: "I feel comfortable because this is the club I have played for the longest apart from Genk, but that was because I was in the youths, so that was different.

"But I feel comfortable here because I'm happy here. I play at one of the best teams in the world, one of the best leagues in the world and my family is settled, my kids are happy. So it makes it more comfortable.

"If one of these things wasn't in place it would give you stress, but I don't have that stress at the moment. I feel relaxed and feel I can focus on what I need to do to be ready."

De Bruyne still has just under three-and-a-half years left on his City contract.
