Wayne Routledge is overjoyed with his performance for Swansea City this season and is determined to continue with his good run of form.

Swansea City winger Wayne Routledge has said that he is pleased with his performance so far this season.

The 27-year-old has established himself as a regular for the Swans following the departure of Scott Sinclair to Manchester City in the summer.

Routledge has scored two goals and provided three assists in seven Premier League starts and believes that he is now in the best form of his career.

"I'm playing games, making chances and scoring goals so I can't ask for much more," he is quoted as saying by The Mirror.

"Playing regularly has given me a bit more confidence and now you're seeing the best of me. It's up there with the best form of my career."

Routledge is also determined to continue his good run of form for Swansea.

"Scotty (Scott Sinclair) had a chance to go and joining the champions and he took that opportunity," he said.

"Obviously I knew in the summer that gave me the chance to work hard in pre-season and hopefully get a chance in the team. I've done that and it's going well.

"But I'd like to think there's more to come. I just want to keep playing well, keep making chances and maybe keep scoring more goals."

Routledge joined Swansea in August 2011.
