Eliseu is determined to lead Malaga to victory over Porto in the second leg of their last-16 tie and reach the Champions League quarter-finals.

Malaga winger Eliseu has said that he and his teammates are determined to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The Spanish club will head into the second leg of their last-16 tie against Porto at home on Wednesday looking to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit.

"It is a motivation to play against a great team like Porto," he told UEFA.com. "It will be a difficult game for both sides.

"We want to continue writing history with Malaga, so we are going for it completely. Porto are in the Champions League nearly every year and regularly reach at least the last 16.

"They're an experienced team, but we have to be confident, work hard and believe we can win."

This is the first time that Malaga are playing in the Champions League.
