Lyon have secured a solid 3-1 win at home to Guingamp in this afternoon's Ligue 1 clash at the Stade de Gerland.
The hosts took the lead as early as the eighth minute when Milan Bisevac's headed flick-on fell to Alexandre Lacazette, who nodded home from a difficult angle into the top left corner.
Midway through the first half, Lyon doubled their lead when Nabil Fekir stroked home Christophe Jallet's cross into the bottom corner.
Guingamp, however, halved the deficit on the stroke of half time when opposition goalkeeper Anthony Lopes accidentally bundled the ball into his own net.
The visitors were invigorated after the break, chipping away at the home side's goal on several occasions early on, but Lyon were able to hold them off and counter with chances of their own.
Ultimately, the hosts killed off the game when Fekir slotted home from close range with three minutes to go.
